SKYE ATWOOD
When Skye first started practicing yoga in 2012 it was not an instant love – more of a slow burn. What started out as a work out became a way to work inwards, helping to develop an intimate relationship with her body and mind, and became a healing tool for her body dysmorphia, anxiety, and depression. Skye first started teaching in early 2020, and since then has completed close to 1000 hours of training. Skye has had many inspiring teachers over the years, with her greatest teacher being her young daughter, Isla, who has shown her the true beauty of slowing down and enjoying the moment.
She strives for her classes to be the perfect balance between physically challenging and soul nourishing, wishing for her students to leave feeling strong and present in body, breath, and heart. She particularly loves teaching arm balances & handstands, as well as giving hands-on adjustments.
Outside of yoga, Skye enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and daughter, tending to her garden, traveling, cooking healthy meals, and reading fantasy books.
